This is when I kindly slap you on the forehead and tell you, "Go to the beach, dummy".
Behold, an honest-to-God functional drive-in movie theater. For real. It's maybe one of my favorite places (and signs) on the Cape. And there's a Flea Market there during select days. Dig it.
This here would be The Beachcomber. It's at Cahoon Hollow Beach, one of the Cape's best beaches. It's up in Wellfleet, a town away from Truro. The Beachcomber is the Cape's only beach-front bar. Though to call it beach-front is a bit of a stretch, since you've got to adventure down a treacherous hill to get in the water. Worth it.

If you enjoy a nice scenic drive with stops along the way for antique shopping, like my grandmother Lorraine, then Route 6a is for you. It's the "old Cape highway" and a good way to take in some sights that won't be present on the much speedier Route 6. But what's the rush, anyway?
Especially when you make a quick stop for this:

If you're more into the kitchy Cape Cod, you can always head down Route 28, another scenic, though it's more congested and (again) a bit hokey. Which can be a great thing.
While you're there, play some mini-golf, fool.
On a PIRATE SHIP.

Ok, not really.
Hey, go get some ice cream. Unless you're better than JFK.
Or salt water taffy. I bet he liked Strawberry best. Do we have similar hair? I feel like we're bonding, me and Mr. Kennedy.
Stop judging.
Or, you know, you could always just go up to Provincetown (P'Town if you want to sound in-the-know). It's one of our favorite places, maybe on earth. Serio, it's a blast. Go be open minded and enjoy yourself.
Bruce Vilanch wouldn't lead you astray and neither would we.
But yeah, if you're having trouble deciding, go to the beach, dummy.
You know where we'll be.
